Steilene is a group of five small islands located in the inner Oslofjord just west of Alværn on the Nesodden peninsula in Viken (formerly Akershus) county, Norway. The islands—Per- and Landsteilene (with a guest harbour), Storsteilene (with a natural harbour), Knerten (a bird reserve), and Fyrsteilene—are protected as a public outdoor recreation area and feature historic buildings reflecting coastal culture. In summer they are visited by a ferry from Alværn, and the former lighthouse on Fyrsteilene now serves as a coastal lodge managed by Oslofjordens Friluftsråd, with ongoing cultural and nature education projects. Only on Knerten is landing restricted part of the year due to the bird reserve. Steilene also has a weather station and areas valued for heritage and nature conservation.

Steilene Lighthouse Station is a former lighthouse facility located on the Steilene islands in the Oslofjord, within Asker municipality, Norway. The lighthouse was established in 1876 to guide maritime traffic approaching Oslo and originally consisted of a light mounted on a keeper’s house. It was automated in 1972 and later decommissioned, after which the buildings were preserved. Today, Steilene Lighthouse Station is used for cultural events, accommodation, and recreation, and the islands are a popular destination for boating and outdoor activities.
