Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Oslo, informally known as the SAS Hotel, is a hotel located near Slottsparken at Holbergs plass in central Oslo. The hotel opened in 1975 on the former site of the Aars and Voss School and stands 67 meters tall, making it one of the taller buildings in the city. It was originally built for SAS Royal Hotel A/S between 1973 and 1975, following a Nordic architectural competition held in 1969, with Jan Lunding as the architect. In 2009, the cooperation with SAS ended, and the hotel was rebranded as part of the Radisson Blu brand within the Radisson Hotels group.
