Oslo Golfklubb, founded in 1924, is the oldest golf club in Norway. Located at Bogstad in the Vestre Aker district of Oslo, the club is situated in a scenic area by Lake Bogstadvannet. The course was originally established on land leased from the historic Bogstad Manor and opened as a 9-hole course before expanding to 18 holes in the 1930s. During World War II, the course was largely used for food production to prevent German forces from utilizing the area, but it was fully restored in the post-war years. As a pioneer of the sport in Norway, the club played a central role in the formation of the Norwegian Golf Federation in 1948.

The course has undergone several significant renovations to maintain international standards, most notably a total reconstruction between 2007 and 2009. These improvements have solidified its reputation as one of the premier golfing venues in Scandinavia, often appearing on lists of the best courses in Europe. Oslo Golfklubb has hosted numerous prestigious tournaments, including events on the Ladies European Tour and the Challenge Tour. The club is also famous for its high-profile members and alumni, such as World Golf Hall of Famer Suzann Pettersen and Viktor Hovland, who both represented the club during their formative years. Today, the facility includes a modern clubhouse completed in 2020, featuring advanced indoor training centers and professional amenities.
