Øvrevoll Racecourse is Norway’s only thoroughbred racetrack. Located in Bærum, just outside Oslo, it opened in 1932. The course features both turf and dirt tracks and hosts a wide range of races throughout the season, including some of the country’s most prestigious events such as the Oslo Cup and Derby Day. Øvrevoll is not only a sporting arena for horse owners, jockeys, and racing enthusiasts, but also a social venue offering restaurants and event facilities.
