Haga Golf, established in 2001 and situated at Griniveien 315 in Hosle, Bærum, is one of Norway's largest golf facilities. Constructed primarily on the former agricultural lands of the Haga farm, the club features a sprawling 27-hole championship course divided into three 9-hole loops, allowing players to experience three distinct 18-hole combinations. In addition to the main course, the expansive facility boasts a dedicated 9-hole training course, an indoor training center, and a large driving range with 78 covered tees. The distinctive clubhouse, completed in 2003 and designed by architect Kari Nissen Brodtkorb, consists of two contrasting sections connected by an airy glass bridge. One part is a red brick building integrated into the terrain housing essential service functions and a cafeteria, while the other features a striking curved wall of gray-stained wood and large glass panels containing a golf shop and a restaurant. Notably, this restaurant, once run by the award-winning chef Terje Ness, held the unique distinction of being the only establishment outside of Oslo to earn a Michelin star, a prestigious accolade that Ness eventually chose to return.
