Fossum Idrettsforening (Fossum IF) is a prominent multi-sports club based in the Eiksmarka and Fossum areas of Bærum, Norway. Established on December 7, 1918, the club has grown to become one of the largest and most active sports organizations in the region, offering a wide range of activities including cross-country skiing, biathlon, alpine skiing, ski jumping, orienteering, and football. Historically, the club has also been active in athletics and Nordic combined. Fossum IF is particularly well-known for its strong emphasis on winter sports and has nurtured numerous elite athletes who have achieved success at both national and international levels, including World Championship and Olympic medalists.

The club's facilities at Fossum serve as a central hub for the local community, featuring a modern sports complex with football pitches, a ski jumping hill, and extensive trail networks for both skiing and orienteering. In the world of biathlon and skiing, the club is famously associated with world-class athletes such as Tiril Eckhoff, Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold, and Tord Asle Gjerdalen. Beyond its competitive success, Fossum IF is recognized for its broad recruitment and commitment to youth sports, maintaining a high level of activity throughout the year. The club also shares a historical connection with the Løvenskiold family and the industrial history of the Fossum area, which originally provided the land and resources for the club's first playing fields.
